About
The short of it

With an educational background in Business Management within the Creative Industries, I've spent the majority of my career in Executive and SLT positions within the games industry. I work as a fractional COO and Business Consultant and am always looking for exciting new projects.

-
Executive at Netspeak Games, which raised $2m seed, $2m convertible and $12m Series A investment and hit reliable 10% day 30 retention and 6% conversion on certain IAPs
-
Senior Leadership at Fusebox Games, which achieved a player base of 20m worldwide and sales of $10m for the game during tenure
The story
Early in my career I started a job as the Executive Assistant to the head of a prestigious arts university, and the task I was first given was:
I need five picnic blankets to take to an event in China, but not actual picnic blankets - they need to look like blankets but be lighter and easier to carry. Oh and I want them printed with the student's artwork.
And then he walked away, leaving me to find out what sort of item fitted that description, where I could buy them from, who the students in question were to obtain digital files of their artwork and where I might find technology or person to print said artwork for me.
This started a journey of finding the niche I excel in; which is providing the answer and solution to low context questions
